Due to recent events that took place on the first of June 2007 at 10:30am I have felt the need to start a petition for North End (Portsmouth, UK) shopping precient to become pedestrianized for the future protection of shoppers that use the area. On that Friday a wife and a mother of two was crossing the road in North End using Traffic lights and was hit by a 17.5t Lorry which killed her instantly in front of her two screaming children. So to preserve our future vehicle safety I ask that today you sign this petition so on the 15th of July 2007 I can collect the Signatures and present them to Portsmouth City Council for them to hopefully act on.
