This crossing is just dangerous. No one is sure who is going to stop or go. A zebra crossing or lights would be far safer.

Felixstowe Town Centre needs to be closed to cars. It really doesn't need any cars passing through by the shops while they are open. If needed allow deliveries outside of the main shopping hours.

Signs should also be put up outside tesco and tsb bank that they are not pedestrian crossings anymore. People just step out without looking.

The area should be pedestrianised, have witnessed many near misses due to poor driving poor cycling & pedestrians just wandering aimlessly & not aware of surroundings

Needs closing to all traffic. even people with blue badges park any where and not in the allocated spots.

I agree with this proposal (too many people also flout the parking regs using disabled signs on their dashboard when they do not seem disabled at all and appear to be well under 55!).

There's no need for shared space here. A safe space for pedestrians outside the shops is needed.

This scheme is a failure because its a constant battle with drivers who believe the right of way is a cars as its a road, the times ive seen people almost knocked down because theres no way some arrogant drivers will stop and try to badger the elderly (my mum almost 80 included) into hurrying across by pulling up to them closer and closer to them which is fearful at any age let alone if you can't rush, maybe if there were clear instruction of use for both pedestrian and drive from the start instead of just shared signs appearing, it would have worked better. Tesco corner specially should be a pedestrian crossing its far to dangerous to be shared.

I believe that it is dangerous as it is, especially to visitors to the town who don't know or understand the concept of shared space.

Do one thing or the other Pedestrianise it or turn it back in to a road, not a shared spaces it's dangerous, impatient Taxi drivers and disabled drivers mixing it with pensioners is a disaster waiting to happen
