1.) Lower the speed limit on Griffin Street to 15 MPH (to reflect the same speed limit that is on Hastings)
2.) Add signs showing that a school is located on Griffin Street
3.) Have a clearly marked pedestrian cross walk that also states that it is a state law to stop for pedestrians

I am currently gathering traffic data to present to the town council during our upcoming hearing. Email your local representatives today to demand they prioritize these crosswalks before another close call happens. Post this link on your Facebook feed so our neighbors understand the urgency of these safety changes.

Reaching this level of support confirms that our neighborhood is fed up with the current dangers on Griffin Street. Call the Mayor's office today to demand that they schedule a public hearing on these safety upgrades.

I am a resident on Griffin St. I have seen too many cars speeding and we need to do something, before something tragic happens.
For quite some time I have seen cars travel too fast through griffin Street. Speed limit really need to be cut to 15 MPH. And no one should be in doubt about where the school is located.
I hope this stops people that live IN this town and OUT of this town to stop speeding down Griffin
How about Tocci too? Would make for consistency in the area and Tocci has poor visibility.
Slow down in Monmouth Beach! Keep our kids safe as the bike and walk to and from the school and park!
Also the traffic is tragically dangerous at the intersection by the churchI recomend a solution to the probem. A ski lift should be erected at the intersection for people to use and cross the street when going to the church.

This town needs tunnels built underneath the streets so people don have to walk out into the road. It also should employ full time crossing guards to work every street corner 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
