The Port Saint Lucie authorities finally backed down and released the dogs to their rightful home. We forced them to realize that barking is not a death sentence for innocent pets. Stay vigilant because we will not let these lazy officials threaten another family again.

Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

Two dogs in Port Saint Lucie (Royal family dogs) where taken by animal care and control because they were barking (NOT ATTACKING) at a neighbor. This is a form of animal cruelty and is unlawful. These dogs are not aggressive dogs, they are loving dogs. With this petition, we the people are being the voice for these dogs and dogs throughout this country. We the people do not feel that dogs or any animal anywhere should be treated this way. And these dogs need to be released back to there owner. Please watch the videos that is on line. I have linked them here but I am not sure if it will work. We ask that you join our family to help this family get there dogs back.

Port Saint Lucie Animal Control is playing god with these innocent dogs while we push toward one thousand signatures. We are gaining ground, but these bureaucrats will ignore us if we stop pushing now. Crank up the pressure on them by blasting this link to everyone you know.

These dogs did not show any aggression. It is normal for any dog to bark. Would you do the same for a smaller breed? Please ask yourself that question before taking any action. The family that owns these pets deserve more consideration. Thank you.
There are sooo many worse things than barking....take my neighbors for ex: their boom boom "music" rattles my windows, they don't even get a ticket! It's not right...there are plenty of positive possibilities obviously being totally overlooked here.
Gonna kill dogs for barking in their own yard...are you kidding me. Let the dogs go home with the understanding they are trained to get the barking under control. Gonna kill dogs for barking in their own yard...can this country get any more screwed up?
Why should these dogs be killed for something that is natural to them? They are protecting their property and their "pack". If people would spend this much time on matters that would really help in some form, this world would be a better place.
Dogs bark. That's what they do. Does not mean they are dangerous dogs. My dog barks when people come near my property line. He is just protecting his space. He has never harmed anyone in his life of 9 years. Please do not euthanize these beautiful dogs.

This is rediculous! Let these dogs go home.

These dogs need to be released to their owner. How can barking at a neighbor constitute grounds for euthanasia? What we have here is a vindictive neighbor that doesn't like animals and does not respect their lives. Killing these 2 dogs would be murder.
