I am currently meeting with local shelters to discuss how we can better support their preventative care programs. The stories they shared about overcrowding underline why this work is so urgent.

Fixing your pets is the only way this stops. Had my cat for 12 years and shes the best.
Adopt don't shop!! So many sweet animals waiting for a chance at a real life.
please help these poor babies. it breaks my heart knowing how many are put down every single day.

Rescue is the way to go whether it is a homeless animal you take in or one you adopt from a pound or shelter. Do not buy while shelter pets die.
