Leave the guy alone... Hard working man and they want to make him unemployed..This world is upside down.

I look forward to shopping at his stall. Friendly service and good quality, plastic free fruit and veg at good prices. Can’t beat it.

Brighton council have very short memories. Brighton open market as it used to be was heart of London Road. Pat and his family have been part of that for well over half a century and the council have been quite happy to take rent from them all. The family had many stalls at one point in the old market. He should be allowed to park close to his stall and the council should stop trying to kill London Road area even more.. Individual traders ave a struggle as it is against so many supermarkets. Town centres are dying because of all the bad decisions allowing supermarkets to monopolize. MAKE A RIGHT DECISION FOR A CHANGE AND HELP A SMALL TRADER!!!

What a stupid, bureaucracy-gone-mad decision! Is there nobody at either the market management company or the council that has an ounce of common sense? Let the man stay!

A brilliant greengrocer that would be hugely missed. Seems like a massive overreaction by the council to me, but then they do seem to specialise in idiotic decisions.

Please reconsider your decision to evict the Mears stall ... for the good of the market if nothing else.
