Let Pat stay. Pick on someone your own size. Small businesses have it tough enough.

Have a heart, BHCC. You've done your best to kill off the Open Market with your wacky ideas and poor leadership support. Don't kill off this stall.

Bureaucracy gone mad. Give the man a reason to get up in the morning. He obviously loves his job if he's still at it at 76. Surely other ways to sort the situation.

BIG MISTAKE BRIGHTON COUNCIL. Brightonian's far and wide will turn this diabolical upset to one of our own into a huge hornets that simply will not go away. If anyone at the council had an ounce of sense they will simply find or create Mr Mears an ideal parking space A.S.A.P, and get this matter closed!.

This man has worked the Open Market all of my life, when there was barely a stall there before the redevelopment he stuck it out for the people of Brighton. He should be helped not hindered in pursuit of continuing his business and long service to the people of Brighton. Give him a parking space!
