As usual the council(s) making a blinkered decision without looking at the effects of their actions. Seen it so many times with so many councils but doesn’t surprise me. Remember Mears from many many years ago. Born in Brighton in 1956 and parents always shopped there. Let him keep on working with a sensible decision....oh wait it the council!

This man is elderly and this is his life, he has a medical condition so allow him to park there and continue trading. He is doing no wrong except making a living. He is not sponging off society like so many people are! Leave him alone to work whatever years he has left. The council should concentrate on people that can work that choose not too and claim benefits. 100% support for this guy.

Let him stay. Open market was supposedly redeveloped to be inclusive of existing business. Have heard rumours to the contrary lately that go against the oiriginal ethos and am wondering if this eviction is related?

This is a sledgehammer to crack a walnut, and not a walnut that needed cracking in the first place. If Pat is disabled to the extent that at his age he needs to park close to his business, then the market should accommodate his exceptional need.
