RE: Sergio Rodriquez ADC# 170003 Hearing Date: August 14, 2024
On November 7, 2016 Sergio Rodriquez deliberately ran down Hailey King and Osmin Gutierrez while they were riding a scooter. He then fled the scene. Hailey was on the hood for 220 feet before being thrown off and killed. Osmin was trapped under the truck for 2000 feet. He was a double amputee and passed December 14,2021 from his injuries that he could not overcome.
They both had baby girls that will not have a mother and father.
Rodriquez was convicted of manslaughter, 2nd degree battery and failure to stop. He entered prison on April 26, 2018. He was sentenced to 17 years.
We, the undersigned, STONGLY OPPOSE parole for Sergio Rodriquez. Justice demands that he serve the full sentence that he was given.Updates

I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained lately. This is entirely because of your conviction and your refusal to let justice be forgotten for the families involved.

Children without parents because of the reckless disregard for life not only in the act itself but fleeing is unacceptable. Time served does not match the crime. Do not let this man out.
Hailey was a young girl I went to school with I will never get to see again because of the choices he made if we are not made to answer for the choices that we make them there are no consequences
David Gutierrez was my brother. He passed away in 2021. His quality of life deteriorated after the accident
This was a cold and violent crime. Any normal person would have stopped to render aid, or at least slowed down. Nothing will bring Hailey or David back, but their families deserve to know that their loved ones' killer will serve out his time. He showed no mercy to his victims.
Rest In peace to my baby cousin . Miss you everyday . Hope that horrible man stays exactly where hes at cause he deserves so much worse then that !!
He changed My life and many more when he took her away from us he deserves to do all his sentence
This guy deserves more prison time for what he did

He should never be allowed out of prison. The 2 people he killed never get paroled from their graves.
