Carpark makes perfect sense! People park there anyway, so it would be as well being done properly and being kept maintained.

as a regular at GiGis restaurant, I do feel parking would greatly improve the safety of pedestrians & vehicular traffic alike, there is a real safety issue as it stands just now

cars ar using this space at weekends anyway. Might as well be used with proper access

Gigis is a popular and busy restaurant that it has attracted customers from all over the area. I agree parking is a problem and often makes it difficult to gain access to the Waverley houses or just drive up and down Lothian Street. This would be beneficial to gigis and to the people who live nearby.
