Our big spring fundraiser event is upon us and is taking place next Saturday May 28th at the Merchants of Green Coffee, beginning at 8pm.
The parent social last year was a great success and raised over $5000. We hope to raise that much or more this year, and the funds raised will be going toward P.I.N.E and extra curricular activities (ie field trips, experts in the classroom etc).The parent social last year was a great success and raised over $5000. Tickets & Payment:
In an effort to keep this event eco-friendly, we are not printing tickets. You can purchase them by signing your name to this guest list.
We prefer to sell as many tickets in advance so that we have accurate amounts of food and beverages. In addition, the venue has a maximum capacity so it is best to secure your tickets in advance rather than at the door.
Advance tickets are $20, and at the door (if available) will be $25. Please submit your payment to Jodi by May 25th.
You will get one free drink with admission and you will also get to enjoy live music, coffee tasting demonstrations, and of course our great silent auction.
Silent Auction Contributions:
Ask #1: We urge you to consider contributing to the silent auction, either by approaching ONE business that you frequent. If needed, letters are available for pick up in the office should you need one. We can also email a PDF of the letter for those of you who have access to your own printer.
Ask #2: Since the purpose of this event, aside from fundraising, is to build community and get to know each other better, it makes sense that we share what we all do either for a living, or for fun.Are you an avid gardener and find peace and tranquility in pulling weeds for a couple of hours, perhaps you can donate that to the auction. There are likely some parents who don’t enjoy gardening or have little time for it. Maybe you are a musician and can offer up a lesson? Or a chef, photographer, social media coach, small business consultant, computer repairs, building inspector, contractor, artist etc. PLEASE give some thought to this and email any offers – either personal time donations or donations from a business to [email protected].

I am currently drowning in emails about catering and silent auction items but the energy for this night keeps me going whenever I feel like giving up on the logistics. It is so strange to think about how much work goes into just one evening of snacks and coffee because I really just want to make sure the kids get those field trips they keep asking about.

I really cannot believe how many people have already added their names to the guest list for the fundraiser since I woke up today. It is honestly getting hard to keep track of the count which is a great problem to have because it means the silent auction is going to be amazing and maybe I should check with the venue about capacity again just to be safe.

Last year was a blast! Hope to see a huge turnout again so we can get those field trips booked for the kids.
SO EXCITED! really need a night out and love that it helps the school at the same time.
