This petition is to show Hockey Regina Inc. (HRI) that parents and guardians of HRI players want and support the removal of the Prairie Storm Minor Hockey Association (PSMHA) from the umbrella of teams allowed to play in HRI. The HRI regulations state(A.01) that "Players and coaches must show respect for the game, their opponents, the officials and the fans" and(A.02)"Parents' actions must be tempered towards good conduct and the welfare of the players", which have continually not been followed between PSMHA and HSI. The HRI bylaws state that "The purpose of HRI is: to promote, govern, and enhance minor hockey in the City of Regina for the good of all players....and to foster community spirit and sportmanship amongst players, coaches, parents, officials, and sponsers and increase the interest of the game of hockey." HRI is not following their bylaw because these standards have continually been broken and they have not done anything to correct it. If you are a parent of a HSI player and you want to endorse this online petition, please sign your name with a comment, plus your childs HRI number for proof of your membership. If you are a member of PSMHA and support this for other reasons, feel free to sign also. Lets show HRI that we are tired of the "What do you want me to do about it" responses from them and show them strength in numbers of our support towards this petition.
