We, the undersigned parents and guardians of pupils at Holy Cross Convent School, wish to express our strong objection to the newly introduced K450 medical fee.
While we fully support measures that promote the health and safety of our children, this additional charge was introduced without proper consultation, explanation, or transparency. Many families are already facing financial pressures from tuition and other school-related expenses, and this new fee places an unnecessary and unexpected burden on parents.
We therefore respectfully request that the school administration:
- Withdraw the K450 medical fee from the current school term’s charges; or
- Provide a clear and detailed breakdown of the purpose of the fee — including who will provide the medical services, what the fee covers, and how the funds will be managed.
As parents, we value our partnership with the school and believe that open communication and mutual respect should guide all financial and policy decisions affecting our children.
We urge the school management to review this decision and engage parents in an open dialogue before implementing any new charges in the future.

Rightly said by others. Why not put the idea first and get views from the stakeholders. Withdraw this do not shove it down our throats that are already choking with expenses.
Whatever this health fee is for, the school must transparently explain to the parents how it shall accrue benefits for the learners
My Children already have insurance coverage, in event of sickness school should immediately contact me or go nearest hospital which I indicated in the application.
I am Against the K450 medical fee that has been introduced without prior engagement with PTC
The medical fee is not in order. No consultations were made with the parents. Theres no general consensus.
Either increase the fees but not a medical charge that is covered elsewhere
scrap it off

I feel that the medical fee 450 should not be mandatory, fee is too high bearing in mind the increased school fees and also parents are already paying other medical insurance from work plus NHIMA which is mandatory... Please reconsider
