I have a son who plays for the high school team and another who plays for the Shakopee Association. They both enjoy playing for Calvin and really want to continue to learn from him.

Shakopee would be very fortunate to have Calvin Simon long term as a coach and figurehead in the program. Calvin is a great coach and most important, a fantasic person. He has been a very positive influence on those around him and is a strong motivator for the kids. Our Squirt C team loves it when he comes to help out at our practices. I see him trying to get involved in the youth program which shows his desire to be here long term and build a program to suceed in the future. His summer camps touch on the history of the program which shows his desire for tradition. I would highly recommend and support the decison to hire Calvin as the Boys Varsity High School Hockey coach in Shakopee.

I’ve gotten to know Calvin throughout the last couple years and I have to easy he’s the real deal. Not knowing other candidates I wounldnt hesitate such a well rounded individual.

He’s coached my nephews kidz and they cannot get enough of him!! He would be the best asset to your school, your team, and for the many kidz he would be impacting in the most positive way.
