We are not shakopee residents but own a rental property in shakopee and my sons both play summer hockey for Calvin. He is the absolute best coach and will make Shakopee hockey a highly reputable and winning program very soon.

I believe it would be in Shakopee's best interest for Mr. Simon to remain in the position of Head Hockey Coach at Shakopee. I've witnessed Calvin working with youth skaters, seen his varsity teams play, and am lucky enough to skate with him on a regular basis. In my opinion you will not find someone more suited for this job. His passion and dedication should not be overlooked!

Calvin’s focus on helping kids develop as hockey players and people is spot on. He has the passion, commitment, leadership skills and hockey knowledge to build a great culture and long-term success for the program. The fact that he is also from Shakopee is a great bonus for Shakopee hockey.

As a Shakopee graduate and also a former SYHA board member I would like to extent the sentiment of what an amazing opportunity Shakopee Hockey has to have one of own want to come back and help our program Calvin has always had the youth look up to him and has always remained someone our community has and should respect. Please Shakopee think outside the box and allow Calvin to help better our program.
