The level of public interest in the skatepark initiative has grown beyond my initial expectations. This momentum indicates that our community recognizes the importance of revitalizing the Chatauqua park location. I appreciate the dedication shown by those who have participated in this effort.

Owensboro really needs this back. Everything is getting torn down and we have nowhere to ride. Fix it!
its about time we got a decent park in this town. concrete is the only way to go
my brother used to spend every summer day at the ozone. bring it back please!!!!
so tired of seeing skaters getting chased off by cops because there is literally nothing else for them to do
been waiting on this for years. do it right this time!

Chatauqua park is perfect for it. keep the kids out of the streets and let them skate somewhere safe
