This petition aims to put pressure on 343/HCS to completely overhaul the HCS sandbox that is planned for Season 2. There's no way we compete another year with the current broken sandbox.
Therefore, I'm trying to collect as many signatures as possible from Pro/Competitive Players in order to force 343/HCS to make actual QoL changes for Season 2.
If 343/HCS eventually listens, we won't have to GA stuff again and we'll be able to play on much better settings, which is what we wanted all year long:
- Commando, PP and Pulse Carbine need to be nerfed (or removed if they're not willing to nerf them to how they were)
- Mangler needs to be replaced with a Sidekick
- Argyle needs to go
- And most importantly the sandbox needs to be completely overhauled (they already have the surveys to make changes to the latter that we filled out in April/May but it'd be much more beneficial if they sent out a new survey)

The sheer volume of pro players backing this shows 343 that we are finished accepting their broken sandbox. They have ignored our feedback for too long but this momentum proves they cannot keep running from the community any longer.

343 needs to understand that this game doesn’t thrive with its current formula. Make these changes.
Commando should be taken out all together, noob combo needs to be just nerfed, pulse carbine is fine but Argyle needs to go. Mangler should've been out a year ago.

343 doesn’t care about halo
The Halo Sandbox had always been considered situational and OPTIONAL BY DECISION, not by force. In Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3, you spawned with the most versatile weapon, which provided VANILLA GAMEPLAY already geared at competition without trying. The focus on "the sandbox" has been an argument on YouTube for over 7 years, whereby many disagree with the notion of the original titles, and prefer a "rebalance" providing easier weapons (weapons with lower skill floors) an optionally equal or better TTK than starting. We forget how many people revered the Halo "sandbox" as being niched to controller aiming and accuracy, this determining the player with better skill will win the match. By contrast, "sandbox control" was geared, not toward additional Tier 1 weapons, but power ups and power weapons. The subtle change to the sandbox done in Halo Infinite, even at launch and changes beyond, have only lowered the floor for already difficult to use weapons with faster TTK. We should have difficult barrier faster TTK sandbox items on power tier 2 or power weapon pads, not "respawn every 40 seconds with timers telling you when, unlimited in play". We shouldnt have pads nor timers in ranked for weapons with countdown pads, and footsteps need to be lowered. At this point, one could make legitimate arguments that Halo CE or Halo 2 vanilla were "more competitive" due to the information alone being stripped from the player. Couple that with a sandbox designed to show the SKILL in decision making, and we see exactly the gameplay problem with Halo Infinite. To this, we also need a 3:1 Ranked to Social space ratio. "This" was never Halo to people who played Halo 2 and 3 at their respective population heights. This is equal to Halo 4 and 5, and a major reason why people aren't playing today.

literally just remove the mangler already, tired of getting one shot by that thing. fix the sandbox or this game is dead by next season.
