The Outreach Redemption House is a program designed to house people who are seeking deliverance from substance abuse, mental disorders/illnesses and people coming out of prison with a desire to better themselves. Located on Marshall Avenue, this motel-turned-shelter has the capacity to house as many as 96 people. Galanda Anderson has leased this building for approximately 3 years and has paid Mr. Don Talley a sum total of 70,000 dollars and has spent approximately 80,000 dollars for operations and upkeep. The community has been very supportive by donating time and monies up to 60,000 dollars to renovate this 1950's motel.
"This is a place for down-and-out people to start their lives over again," says founder and CEO Galanda Anderson.  Her goal is to help people, not just on their spiritual journey, but also in their practical living.
The Outreach Ministries has taken an eye-sore that lay dormant for almost two years and turned it into something profitable for the community as well as Mr. Talley. We are very appreciative of Mr. Don Talley, but the program cannot survive without some type of financial relief.
