The administration reversed the phone ban this morning. This win belongs to every student who stood their ground and insisted on a fair policy. Keep holding them accountable to ensure these new rules stay in place.

Crestwood Middle School students have just recently lost their phones, and threaten to get suspended if the phones are found out throughout the school day, all because of a few jokes that someone took out of proportion and several pictures were taken. We feel that the people who did the wrong doings should be punished, but not everybody as a whole. Anyway, the students need their phones for educational purposes, and being completely honest whether they have the rule or not, who is seriously going to give up their phone? So be smart, sign the petition, pass it around, and get your privileges back. :)

(P.S. Please be appropriate, this is going to our principle!!!)

Give phones back because kids use them for school like studying checking grades caculater or what if there is an emergency they should be able to be notifed on there phones about it. Also to get ahold of parents for a ride home or to a friends house or even study plans

If we go on our phones in class it's our education we are willing to give up to text or go on our phones. We are on in the hallways or a lunch it's not disturbing anyone's educational process. Therefore there's no point to take away phones

Using my phone in class not only makes it easier to access textbooks, but let's me check my grades (I don't have a computer.) The actions of a few should not represent the majority of people who were using their phones for the right thing.

I just think that it would be good if we can at least use our phones during lunch. Yet again, kids use their phones for reading and research. When the phones are put in the right use, it is acceptable. For those who misuse the phones should be punished. If they get caught, punish them. It is an issue that we all get punished for this.

My concern is what if God forbid there is a gunman. At least someone could call 911. Being with out a phone leaves them with out contacting the OUSTSIDE. The same goes if a child is being bullied they can call a parent. Cuz I know Crestwood doesn't do anything about it.
