When will good Dads stop losing time with their children due to poor and unfair rulings made by members of our Judicial system? How many times have you heard " You don't want to catch the Judge on a bad day". How is this considered ethical? Do you believe that a Judge is able to make a completely unbiased decision when it comes to the fate of a child and their parents. This petition is not a rant for "dead beat Dads" that have given all Dads a bad name. This petition is to provide our children and their Good Dads with a fair trial when it comes to matters of child custody and our Judicial System. I would like to see decisions being made based on the facts rather then the assumption that children are better off being in the care of their Mothers. I think that family trials should have mini juries of four people. The average family court trial lasts three days, this is would ensure that more then one person is able to hear all of the facts and testimony of both the Father and Mother. Judges are bombarded with trials and take months to make a decision. As it is right now, nobody oversees the final ruling made by the Judge. It is very difficult to apply for and be granted an appeal, when a Judge has made an unfair decision.
