I am running this petition to make awareness of how important it is for a child to have both parents involved in their lives.
The struggle fathers have to go through to get contact with their children after ex partners deny access is unreal!
i am currently going through the process of getting contact for my daughter due to my ex partner stopping me from seeing her as i simply didn't want to carry on being in a relationship with her.
there are thousands of cases like mine where a father is being denied access for no valid reason.
the court system is making it so hard for fathers to gain access that alot of fathers simply give up due to not having enough support, knowledge and motivation to fight against the courts.
Everyday that the courts are delaying cases like mine and others is resulting in a father missing time they cant get back with their child and a child missing their father!
it is still shocking me what a father have to go through to simply get one of the most basic rights in life : to see their own child!
I am going to arrange a fathers meeting i the Swindon area to give support and help and discuss how we can unite and take this further and make a change as this cannot carry on!!!

a child only have to parents mother and father .. And no should ever stop them from seeing there own child it's so sad they way the law is
A father should always get to see their child. An ex is and ex for a reason and they need to learn to move on. My partner has the same sort of problem. It hurts me seeing him hurt when all he wants his time with bus daughter.
all men should have the chance to see their children. Using a child as a weapon is simply wrong!!!
Every child deserves to grow up with two loving parents. It's about time someone stopped children growing up without their father!
a child needs both role models, you can't take away the farther if he is willing to be there.
Things have to change !!!!
