Final supporters
Next year OTHS is assigning everyone lots where they must park. I believe that we should allow seniors the privilege of having assigned spots and everyone else to park wherever they would like. This would allow people that are in multiple activities to park wherever it is convenient based on what activity they must attend after school that day. Also, with the new system of parking OTHS is planning to use, it is not fair and not all of the students will receive a desirable lot. I believe we should have a first come first serve policy (except for the seniors). This would create less conflict among the school and people would not be stuck with bad parking lots far from the activities they are involved infor the entire year. In addition, it would give students something to look forward to their senior year. I understand the cost of having to repaint the parking lot with reserved senior spots is expensive. However, an easy solution is to make the seniors pay a price that will cover the costs of painting their spot. If the cost is too high for some seniors, then they don't have to buy a spot. Overall, having assigned parking spots for only seniors will benefit this school and reduce conflicts that are sure to surface with the new rules.

I have been hearing from many students who worry about the logistics of moving between practice fields and the classrooms under the new plan. These concerns confirm that a rigid system will create unnecessary friction for those of us involved in multiple school activities. I am currently preparing to present this feedback to the administration to explain why a student-led approach remains the most logical path forward.

Ever since freshman year I've been waiting to get my own personal parking spot ... Just like every other Katy ISD high school
Would love to see an assigned lot and assigned spots for seniors, that they can paint and personalize. All other grade levels, first-come-first-serve. Seems assigned spaces for the whole campus means some really underutilized spots on extra-curricular, etc. days.
Senior parking is something I have always looked forward to & it's a great opportunity to make money for the school
I'd like to be able to park near the natatorium seeing as my first class is in that area of the school. Early bird should get the worm.
I normally park by the 9th grade center but today I was running late and my class was on the other side of the school and I had to park on the other side. If I am forced to park on one side I would have been late. It would be best to allow students to pick where they park.
I was given the privilege as a senior at SLHS (class of '11), it was something everyone looked forward to, I want my siblings to be able to have the same privilege

Senior parking spots is a tradition that I would've been able to partake in at Seven Lakes. The school zoning forced me to Tompkins and now you take away the one thing I looked forward to...senior parking spots... Thanks for ruining senior year!
