Ormiston Sudbury Academy have decided to close the whole field with fencing. This is caused by the exceeding amount of mess due to dog owners not cleaning up after there dogs. Is it right to make other suffer from other peoples mistakes? The answer is no sign this petition if you feel the closure is wrong. We have memories of sledging, flying kites and playing football. Without the field it wouldn't be possible to do this activities elsewhere without a long distance of travel. Kids would be on the streets longer with harsher conditions is that safe? I have walked my dogs here for years and have NEVER left any mess behind. I found some kids climbing the fence the other day, and I'm sure they won't be the last, and accident waiting to happen!! In this age of promoting healthy outdoor lifestyles, where are the kids supposed to go? Utterly ridiculous.

This is a real shame. We have not seen the lower field used for school PE lessons in the last 6 years, and we pass the fields everyday. Another area taken away where children could play safely, I guess this will force more to play around the streets, and loiter!
Stupid school!!! I go there and live 10 mins away only place I can walk dog of lead, and where can I go sledding now without a long distant of travel

In the summer I go to the field everyday and play football and leave no rubbish. I now have nowhere to go and play football or do any exercise which children and young adults are moaned at for not going outdoors
