This road is integral to the whole Oribi Community. Tourism will be affected if this road continues to deteriorate. Further, the only other road to Oribi, Lake Eland, and other business is traversed by NPC trucks and other heavy vehicles which can make driving quite stressful on that road.
The scenic beauty of the Oribi Reserve Road has no equal. But it has become very difficult to drive and dangerous even in dry weather. It needs to be seen to soon.
I'd be willing to join a work party to supervise areas of road repair, the ability to do so may be a problem depending on timing of repairs.

this special road that is an icon in our area is a danger to everyone that need to travel on it at the moment. The tar road need to be repaired, NOT THE PLANTS OR TREES NEXT TO IT!!!

Will impact negatively on experience of tourists coming to the south coast and ultimately affect economic benefit. In addition, local residents constantly use that road and doing do put their lives at risk with the road in such a dire state of needing repairs.

This road is an important link between the two sides of Oribi Gorge used not only by local working residents but by tourists and holiday makers. With holiday season fast approaching it should be a priority that the road be fixed. Not only does it impact businesses in the area it is a draw card for visitors to the coast

I am a resident in Oribi and the state of the road is dangerous. Should the road be damaged further we won’t be able to use it for fear of damage to our vehicles and danger to ourselves.

I use this road at least once a month to access hiking trails in the reserve. There are a number of places where the road looks unstable on the cliff side and seems to be caved out underneath the tar. At another point, a recent rock fall has deteriorated the road surface with tar either eroded or covered in dirt, making it difficult to drive through with my low clearance sedan motor. Please don't neglect this road where we have an amazing peace of nature.

*Punctuality*: showing up late to my training sessions can reflect poorly on me and may affect my reputation
*Attendance*: Missing training due to road conditions can lead to missed opportunities, fallen behind on coursework and potential consequences on my academic performances.
*Safety*: As we're driving in the disrupted roads increases the risks of accidents , which can have serious consequences for my health, well being , and academic persuit.
I hope the authorities responsible for the roads maintenance take prompt action to repair it.
