This corner is currently traffic heavy. We don't need to add a senior facility to this area when there is new senior buildings currently being built less than 5 miles from this location.

Say no to the rezoning request at Mars Hill Rd. and Burnt Hickory for a residential support facility.

West Cobb is such a unique area because we have no large buildings. Not to mention, the traffic on Mars Hill is bad enough. Such a building as this is not at ALL in keeping with the spirit of West Cobb. Please do NOT allow this land to be re-zoned.

We do NOT need this type of residence in our neighborhood. I'm sure there are other places that can be found for the Sr Living Group. This is surrounded by well established neighborhoods and we certainly do not need a 4 story 'apartment' style building here - totally out of place and in the wrong location.

I was born and raised in Cobb, then moved back as an adult. I've watched the over development outpace the services of fire, police, water, road, sewer and trash systems. How in the world can a 4 story apartment building and 125+ more cars be supported at this intersection? I completely oppose this development at this location. There are multiple empty lots around Cobb where this type of building would be easily zoned in, including locations along 41, with much easier acces to public transportation, hospital and fire services. Please consider one of those spaces!

Per Cobb County Code Section 134-203.1 this type of facility is to be within an Activity Center. This proposed site is on the corner of 4 residential home sub-divisions.
Therefore, NOT in accordance with the above County Code and should be denied. Plus, the fact there is a facility just like this about one mile away on Stilesboro Road.
We do not need a 4 story building over shadowing all the homes in the area. This tall of a building is more commercial then anything else and definitely not a fit for this area.
