The proposed cellular tower would create an eyesore in Miami Shores, even if an attempt is made to disguise the tower as a tree. The unsightly tower, along with the fear of living near one, would result in lower property values. The Federal Communications Act of 1996 states that property values and aesthetics are valid reasons to deny a zoning variance for a cellular tower. I urge the Planning Board to deny the variance request.

I strongly oppose construction of the proposed cell tower on NE 2 Ave and 104 Street as being out of conformance with the surrounding area.

I just spent a ridiculous amount of money to buy and completely rehab a 1940 miami shores home because i expect miami shores to be a nice community to raise children. This small town should not be the site of a 100 tower. What will be next!??!

This is a horrible idea. As a father of 2 kids I am very well informed about the health effects this cell tower might have on their health. I very strongly oppose it!!!

The variance application should be denied. The proposed cell phone tower is a potential health hazard and would also be an eyesore in our community.
