Indian fork road is already becoming a racetrack. 10-minute waits to get onto Wessinger drive are becoming the norm, thanks to all the previous developments. Please. . . . . . . No more new homes !

Morning traffic congestion on Wessinger / Dutch Fork is already very backed up, with multiple new developments currently under construction. Adding another 100 homes with make this significantly worse.

The current infrastructure of Chapin was not designed or can support the development of projects in question. Who would pay for upgrades to the roads, schools and the need to redistrict and change the children’s existing schools, utilities etc. It would fall on the tax payers with increases to support the developments with the builders making a profit at the residents of Chapin expense. The land can not support all the developments and change to the topography and wild life. This is a small community with mom and pop stores, a family community looking out after each other, don’t change this the small town charm or it may be gone forever. Bigger is not always better.

The current sewer system, roads, and infrastructure is unable to sustain another large housing development. Additionally, the current wild life we enjoy in this area would be utterly destroyed.

Infrastructure not in place. Developers need to be responsible for adequate impact fees and repairs to our roads that are constantly being destroyed from the growth they are creating!

As a Chapin resident my whole life, I am not opposed to growth. I welcome it actually because with growth comes nicer things! However, this area is a concern. I used to live near here and it’s bad. I now live within the town limits and it is much better here.

Quality of life is important!!! Getting around is causing so much frustration!! Infrastructure needs to be improved to handle all the new growth. Stop the growth and revisit the ability to enjoy your town!!

The road access is already at its max capacity for the safe evacuation of the area if the need should ever arise and the traffic noise levels are getting out of hand. More development in the area will only degrade the area more and make it a less desirable community to live in.
