We don't have the road infrastructure and both the Town of Chapin and Richland County sewer have MAJOR issues with outside water infiltration every time it rains which leads to overflows, lift pump failure and backups! Raw sewage water overflows into Lake Murray during these rain events when cleanout caps are blown off or taken off in lakefront homeowners yards! The South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (the old SCDHEC) needs to STOP permitting development for this reason alone!

No approvals without public disclosure of impact studies AND, a PUBLIC Vote, not on who represents us but on the proposed developments.

Please no more construction in the area. I have lived on Indian Fork Rd for over 20 years and seen way to much development in the area. Our infrastructure can not accommodate all this development

I moved to Chapin for several reasons. The schools and small town with ample restaurants & stores. I have watched Lexington go from a nice town to a wreck because of the infrastructure was not thought out before overwhelming the roads with excess capacity. This is all because of money and power that know one questions.

Chapin needs more homes like we need a hole in the head, this getting completely out of control. Traffic is miserable now, we don't need more cars on the road. Stop the greed!

Elected officials need to stand up for the populous vs the developers.

Keep Chapin small and stop the growth. The infrastructure cannot handle any more growth. Emergency Services and roadways cannot handle the growth.
