The infrastructure is not in place to handle the growth in our area. The roads, schools, utilities & emerg responders are already stretched. This would handicap our community & negatively impact the quality of life for people in Chapin.

Our infrastructure is maxed out as it is adding 106 new homes will further decrease the quality of life for those of us who use the utilities, roads, and schools. These developers come in and develope the land take their profits and leave the local residences with the infrastructure nightmares. When will the local governments learn what they are doing by allowing these new developments.

Chapin development in my opinion has gotten out of control period. There is something to be said for slow growth. I have lived in this area for over 25 years now, and to say the change has been drastic with a full speed ahead mentality is an understatement. Traffic, over crowded schools and damage to once was a small hidden gem near the lake has been done. If we don't slow it now Chapin with become like Lexington. We'll, I don't want to live in Lexington (no offense to Lexington) . It is not or never. Developers looking to buy up land and build...that is all...money.

It would be highly irresponsible given and seeing obvious information on infrastructure, sewer / septic alterations, overcrowding of schools and impact on education, and added environmental stress for this development to occur.

I spent so much time in these woods riding my bike and walking through the trails as a kid, and I want my kids to have the same chance. We need space to get outside and use our imagination, not more houses.

We can't handle any more homes being built due to lack of infrastructure...meaning roads to handle the traffic that would now balloon into my neighborhood at Ashwood Hill, Hiller Rd, and Wessinger Rd.

Mainly because of infrastructure and unable to get out of a neighborhood we've lived in for so long off old Lexington highway

I agree wholeheartedly with the objections in this petition. Our schools are overcrowded, our roads are overcrowded, and the infrastructure cannot support the additional load. Please block this development.
