Neighbors for Safe Roads: No ATV/UTVs on Town of Wilson Roads

The roads are dangerous enough for walkers and bikers and loud enough with motorcycles. I already see how difficult it is for families with their children.

I walk every day. I don't want them driving where I walk.

I support keeping ATV's and UTV's off roads. Those are off road vehicles and do not belong on roads with autos and trucks.

Allowing OHV's on town roads will not enhance our community! Roads are already shared with walkers and bikers. Adding OHV traffic will not only increase safety concerns but it will detract from the character of our community and the reasons people live here.

I am concerned about lack of regulation and enforcement. Safety should be the primary focus of the town board. The noise is also a concern.

Keep OHV’s off Wilson roads!!

This is one problem we don't need to have! Absolutely NO!

I am strongly against the ATVs in the town of Wilson. Especially in the black river area. I have seen what they have done to the areas up north. They have destroyed the land and caused deadly accidents. We as drivers have to have a vailed drivers license and can’t drink and drive. The ATV drivers don’t have to have a license and can drive with open containers. Dangerous.

Please vote NO. I am deeply concerned about the lack of regulations regarding: No licensing is required and the ability to have open alcohol on vehicle. No alcohol should be permitted in any vehicular on the roads.

These vehicles are unsafe on our narrow roads, and they are noisy which disrespects the quietude of our community.

Please no OHVs on our roads. They are unsafe on so many levels (visibility, alcohol usage, driver liability, threat to runners and other pedestrians) and they create significant noise pollution!

Please also consider not allowing golf carts on town roads as well.
