I strongly oppose the development of new houses of any kind in this area. This is the last piece of green belt heritage land that still remains untouched. This will create ecological catastrophe that can lead to infestations and infections. Is this what the city wants to deal with it? Everything is being ruined with the constructions. Whoever who wants this project approved is thinking? Few several years the City of Vaughan confirmed that this land will remain untouchable due to green belt, why this has been changed so quickly? Again, the development will have a negative effect from ecological and ethical perspective.

The Rizmi proposal in its present state appears like an ill-conceived and ill-advised money grab. This is an “unauthorized” high-density housing development with lack of forethought to community and public environment (parks, schools, etc.). Where is the consideration to community priorities? Let’s consider the protection of wildlife and the impact of adding 526 residential units into an area of spectacular natural beauty. Where is the consideration for the environment? Practically speaking, concerns over North/South (Dufferin) traffic throughput as well as East/West connectivity through North Maple communities takes precedence over adding more housing development in this area. This brings additional traffic volumes to overly congested roadways, particularly during traffic peaks. Where is the consideration for urban planning? Strongly oppose this proposal!

There is not enough roads to handle more development. Stop the development.

This project is too congested and places our wildlife within the Oak Ridges Moraine in at risk. We are strongly opposed to this development.

Opposed. This application and proposal is premature. There needs to be improvements made to roads (widening on Dufferin and Kirby, extension of teston road to Keele) and public transportation system in place to service this additional population.

The proposed density is much too high. I cannot say too strongly how much I oppose this development. I agree with Mr. Eugenio DeLuca.

We are opposed to the current planed infrastructure. There does not appear to be any forward thinking for the infrastructure to Dufferin St nor the community itself.

Opposed to this development, our area is already congested as it is and traffic volume keeps increasing at an alarming rate. Our politicians and regulators need to plan with keeping the area like it was originally intended when it began developing 20 years ago. Let's keep protecting the environment for generations to come and not ruin it now!

We need this area developed... we as residents of this area need safe walkways along side dufferin and parks for our kids close by where our kids can ride their bikes and could walk safely along side dufferin or on our streets. We do not need more buildings or houses being build, we need family friendly surroundings.
