I oppose of this path as it is just another rat run. The Dam wood path was closed following the Rhys Jones murder, why open another?

I'm in the woods on a regular basis with my dogs, and live alongside the woods on the estate as I have done for several years. There are enough problems as it is with motorbikes and quad bikes being riden through the woods and Croxteth Park itself. And the woods have long been neglected by the council considering the amount of rubbish, fly tipping, old and damaged fencing scattered throughout (including in the ponds). I regularly walk through there and see evidence of drug taking and drinking, and on occasion have seen people shooting at wildlife with pellet guns. And from the woods I regularly see and hear motorbikes being driven up and down Parkview Road. Sort out the existing issues first - in what is an otherwise pleasant place to walk/cycle/horse ride - before even considering creating further access points. Its a joke that this is even being considered and any true friend of Croxteth Green spaces would oppose it. Its offers very little benefit for local residents that would be far outweighed by the social and environmental cost.

dont want this path, too many paths in croxteth park estate, not interested in you making it easier to get to croxteth , just making it easier for people to come on to the estate causing trouble

I strongly oppose the opening of the path. My daughter has nearly been run down by gangs riding off road bikes in a careless manner through the park and surrounding areas. We live on the estate and I should not have to live in fear of my daughter being injured!

Already enough problems on the current paths - this is just going to create even more problems causing alarm, harassment and distress for residents of the park who are regular users!

This would run directly at the back of my house, there is enough criminal activity going on in the area without it being made easier for any undesirables to come and go as they please.
