Perhaps the council should concentrate their efforts on finishing Alt Meadow which is just an eye sore.
I thought that the council were short of money, so how can funds possibly be available for this ridiculous idea?

So a new pathway is being proposed and championed by the residents of Croxteth. This cannot go ahead. It starts at Moss Way (a regular haunt of the Croxteth Crew gang) and comes out onto Croxteth Park estate (The place were an 11 year old child was shot and killed by a Croxteth Crew gang member). That alone should be a good enough reason to never open a path.
Also the residents of Croxteth Park pay ground rent every year and pay a lot more council tax. Will the residents of Croxteth be chipping in towards this and our new higher insurance rates because of the new path? I very much doubt it.
One of the arguments for the residents of Croxteth is that some of them used to walk that path when they were kids.
Yes, so did I, but there wasn't a PRIVATE HOUSING ESTATE there when you did, now there is.
I urge you to tell everyone you know about this and get them to sign this petition to oppose the path.

Our garden backs onto Dam Wood. When the original footpath was open we have youths in our garden many times trying to steal our property. This stopped when it was blocked off
