Reason Circle is the last good part of the good life city... there are thousands of reasons why this is a bad idea ... I am sure many of our neighbors have listed them more articulately than I am prepared to do so today but I will say , anyone with children and/or fear of property depreciation will leave the district and you will be allowing yet another residential family oriented neighborhood to deteriorate and join the rankings of the fourth poorest city in the nation as another neighborhood given to the “Skreets” and filled with Albany’s slum lord owners !

I am against having former prisoners housed in a historic residential district. I feel this presents a huge safety risk for residents and families living in the neighborhood. The presence of this facility will be a blight on the neighborhood and negatively impact property values, thus reducing property tax revenues.

Using Tift Park as their recreation area is what bothers me. I wish offenders well, but not if they have to use the park for unsupervised socialization.

Albany is scary enough without this. My elderly Mother lives in the area and cannot leave her there if this happens!
