I think to go behind the back's of the students and staff is disgusting especially with the amount of effort all those affected put in.

Absolutely no care for academic matters here. A new arts centre over academic and admin staff? Cmon Notts! So secretive, so corporate. Do you not have enough money to finance both, what with the 9k a year and all?

Wake up & think about your actions before taking drastic action.

It's outrageous. I do a MSci and think it's awful so it must be if am supporting a languages petition.

Why are we paying £9k a year on a course which provides us with limited support as it is.

Not fair on current students. Should plan in advance so students are not distracted from their studies.

The university thinks they can do whatever they like! But it's our course! We chose it and paid for it!

Please do not allow this to go ahead. I came to this Univeristy to be supported, especially on my year abroad.

Students need and expect support for their year abroad - that is the responsibility the university has to students and one of the things the University advertised itself on in open days. To remove this support would be going against their word and make this scary time at university even more confusing and difficult.

The year abroad support system at UoN was key when deciding where to go for university. I am currently on my year abroad and have needed this support several times due to contracts etc. I was an ambassador for CLAS last year, I was told specifically to say that we have the best support for year abroads in the country, I think that was a huge advantage for Nottingham to prospective students.
