This is a disgusting example of the University of Nottingham's abusive relationship with its students.

The University was largely sold to me on the premise of the most comprehensive administrative support available for the year abroad. This project is nothing short of a scandalous contradiction of terms. If we are truly 'Britain's global University' we need to start showing it.

Without the administrative support of the year abroad office I don't think I would have been able to cope with the issues I have encountered on my year abroad so far. Its unfair to the following to not have that same support. Also its scandalous that students have not been informed, especially for those who weren't/aren't around when these decisions were made.

This project is stripping the department of vital adminitrative support and the year abroad office leaving students unsure of the extent of support they will recieve. This is something that first year students had never been consulted about which is really disappointing considering the enormous affect it will have this September.

Making teaching and administrative staff redundant in order to cut costs would in no way benefit our education at the University of Nottingham , especially our year abroad which is an integral part of our degree!

important members of our faculty are already leaving because of the changes imposed by project transform. This is scandalous. Students have not been informed about these changes and we now will lose well loved lecturers and teachers of the German department.

This scheme is going to be detrimental to both staff and students and it's ridiculous that it's been implemented in such an underhand manner.

The cuts being made to the German department will only serve to lower the status of languages at Nottingham University and other universities in the UK. It makes no sense whatsoever to implement these changes based on a vague questionnaire carried out before the majority of current CLAS students even joined Nottingham.
