Oppose Live Performance Venue at 275 Park Avenue

The opening of this venue will disrupt the daily lives of so many families who want the neighborhood to remain quiet, clean and safe. Please do not allow this place to open.

I completely OPPOSE this new venue. It will destroy the quality of life we enjoy in Clinton Hill. Parking is already difficult. We don't need a nightclub. Do not grant a liquor license to this venue.

My wife and I have lived in this neighborhood for the past 37 years and let me tell you this whole situation really makes me want to poop! Like poo poo all over the place. And pee pee too.

This is one of the best neighborhoods in BK and we refuse to be sacrificial lambs to greed and indifference imposed by some force that does not care about our neighborhood because they are not one of its residential neighbors. People actually live here, but values will decline come this chaos to an already filthy and unsightly Park Ave. Just say no!

Children live in this building who don’t need to experience or hear noise, vandalism, drunkenness, disorderly conduct at 2am when they have school the following day. We chose this building because it is away from the crowds and quiet! Please reconsider the nightlife venue.

This idea of a nightclub on the bottom of a residential building on Park Avenue is ridiculous. It will definitely have a negative effect on the quality of life of the residences in this building.

A late night comedy club is absolutely going to lower the property value of the building and units due to loud noise, lack of parking, and violence.

We have filed a letter with the State Liquor Authority opposing the granting of an on-premise liquor license to 275 Park Performance Venue LLC, the proposed home to Laffaholics Comedy and Jazz Club at 275 Park Avenue in Brooklyn. We listed the following areas on concern: 1. PUBLIC SAFETY 2. TRAFFIC + PARKING 3. NOISE 4. CROWD CONTROL 5. HISTORY of PROBLEMS 6. INCONSISTENCIES + MISINFORMATION We are planning on doing additional community outreach and we are expecting to add many more opposing, concerned voices to the cause.
