Please keep estes free from non local people trying to change our wildlife habitat and neighborhoods just to make more money for themselves. We live here year round and have to deal with the consequences of the entire project. It doesn't support or help this city or its residents. Why should we change for them when they don't care about us. If they "care about restoring the lodge" why are they changing it? Why are they threatening us if we dont do as they say? Anyone who has to threaten to get they're way is not someone/something we need or want! People come here for the view and wildlife but this project will take all of it away.

I am 100% opposed to this expansion. I have lived here for 34 years and seen Estes go from a quaint mountain village to the current insanity we now experience. We do not need more hotel rooms period.

The local lodging market is already operating at or beyond equilibrium, with significant inventory pressure from short-term rentals listed on platforms like VRBO that exceed permitted capacity and strain enforcement resources. Adding a large-scale commercial lodging development through annexation and rezoning introduces new supply without a corresponding, enforceable plan for transportation, utilities, workforce housing, or service capacity. This type of expansion risks depressing average daily rates and occupancy across compliant operators, undermining reinvestment, wage growth, and long-term asset maintenance. Sound economic development depends on predictable zoning, fair competition, and alignment with adopted comprehensive plans — not ad hoc annexations that externalize costs onto existing businesses and residents.

Recent building has clearly effected the game trails and migration through our valley. Please do not wreck more havoc on our nature and wildlife!

Opposed to this expansion and rezoning. The Estes Valley is already at its greatest expansion. Doing more would ruin the carrying capacity of the land and the environment.

Opposed. Protect this natural area. We do not need more hotel rooms to earn profit for the few. We are selling everything that made our town unique.

not needed - and not very well presented to locals so as to have a chance to comment.

We need affordable housing in Estes Park not larger hotels.

This will only cost the city more in needed services

Please leave open space natural. Nature and natural beauty of Estes Park is getting over used, over crowded, with more and more buildings. The town is shrinking with all of these ridiculous, greedy ideas that are not needed, and not wanted. The addition of more is crowding not only the residents, the people that work here and wildlife will all be negatively impacted. Leave nature alone.

Please do not let this go through. It will take away much of what makes Estes Park special.

Enough is enough! This is a clear demonstration of all that matters to the government in this town is turning it into Vail, Aspen etc. we are the full time residents and get gouged by taxes when shopping and living here. The roads are in poor condition and they don’t even clear the sidewalk at Lake Estes. I guess the end game is to have no residential property here.

"Estes Park isn't as nice as it used to be." I hear it from visitors and residents too. Everyone who says this is referring to the density of traffic and people here. Our town is being loved to death. This development would only continue to make that problem worse. In order to preserve what "small town" feeling we still have, I oppose the Elkhorn Lodge Phase 2 Annexation and Re-zoning.
