The Juniata County School Board has proposed a consolidation of Thompsontown-Delaware, Fayette, and Monroe Elementary Schools into one school at the "east end" of Juniata County. Therefore, a closure of Thompsontown-Delaware Elementary and Fayette Elementary would occur and those students would be bussed to Monroe Elementary School in Richfield.
