The British Columbia government has a plan to kill over 184 wolves to the endangered caribou. Its called the BC Wolf Cull. This will span over 5 years.
The reason why this method/ plan wont' work is because, the caribou are endangered because of destruction of land caused by the government who have built on the land the caribou live on.
If this continues, thousands of wolves will die in unnecessary death resulting in an ecosystem imbalance just because of destruction for building on a habitat that belongs to the mountain caribou
Innocent wild wolves are dying.

The government continues to ignore the underlying issue of habitat destruction while focusing their efforts on the cull. I am currently compiling the research to formally challenge the stated reasoning behind these actions.

Continue with this cull and lose my lifetime political support and that of many more. This is a VERY flawed plan!
The wolves are innocent, us human being are to be blamed, thus no need to kill them..let them live!
I grew up with wolves the Yukon. I love the sound of their night cries! I don’t think it’s right

The cull or should I say killing of wolves has to stop! When wolves are killed, it throws off wolves family dynamics; making for troublesome wolves. Wolves are a keystone species. If too many wolves are killed, the whole ecosystem goes out of balance. Elks eat all of the native vegetation, which other species depend upon. Besides, killing wolves does not improve elk populations. That is a myth!!
