The tradition of open campus lunch has been a privilege that Jackson high schoolers have cherished for many years. The administration is in the process of taking away that privilege from the student body this year. This would be a bearable change if it were not for the fact that the new lunch facilities have yet to be finished and the old facilities do not contain adequate enough space for a comfortable lunch environment. I find this to be outrageous for the administration to require us to stay on campus for lunch with such inadequate facilities and I believe that the privilege of open campus lunch should be given back to the student body.
