Petition to request street parking on W. Las Positas Road for Verona Community.
Verona is a beautiful community of town-houses, located on Belleza Dr, at the intersection of W. Las Positas and Stoneridge Dr, Pleasanton. Currently the residents are facing an insurmountable problem on finding parking spots.
Residents of Verona are facing a shortage of parking spots when we host events at home and invite visitors. It's becoming incredibly worsen over the weekends and weekday evenings. The problem is compounded with the resurrection of the new community, Anton Hacienda, a multiplex-dwelling complex right opposite to Verona.
We, the residents of Verona community, request the City of Pleasanton, to provide open street parking on W. Las Positas Road. Thank you.

I really thought this might just fizzle out but seeing so many neighbors chime in shows I am definitely not the only one circling the block for twenty minutes just to find a spot. It feels good to know we are all feeling this frustration together because honestly navigating Belleza Drive at night has become a total nightmare.

For a community of 151 houses, we have extremely limited parking spots within the community. This has become a major problem for those return from work in the late hours or while the guests come or in genera during the weekends. Street parking option will be a huge plus.
We have been struggling a lot to find a parking lot when we invite guests to our home. To the extent that we sometimes take our guests to near by park just because our guests don't find a parking lot in our community. If we can open up street parking on Los Positas street it will really help.
Please allow street parking on Las Positas blvd for Verona residents. Same is allowed for the houses starting from Fairlands school.
Steet parking on w.Los Positas seems to be the only solution for Verona. !!! Kindly consider
Parking is a very big problem for our (Verona) community and needs to be addressed as early as possible. Unfortunately there is no other alternative option for us and a street parking would alleviate this problem significantly.

As an original owner at Verona Townhomes for 23 years, there has never been enough parking. The builder, Signature reneged on the number of parking spots they promised, severely shorting us. In the early development the residents were thinking of purchasing a building site where they built 4 additional units but Signature wouldn't let us do that either. I have NEVER been able to have family or friend events at my place because of it. I sincerely hope that we can have on street parking and don't feel it would interrupt flow of traffic as there are 6 lanes total. We only want one lane. West Las Positas is not that traveled especially when you consider that Valley Ave has only 4 lanes and more heavily traveled. Thanks for any consideration.
