Based upon these three issues, I am deeply concerned about Dr. Joseph's commitment to our children.

The recent actions of the MNPS demonstrate incompetency and border on racism. This budget needs to be re-evaluated or ALL the students will lose.

Please don’t take money away from our successful, high achieving students and schools. Model the other schools after them!

Why doesn't someone make a statement about the millions of dollars spent to renevate the penthouse offices at the board?

As a former resident of Prince George's County where Dr. Joseph previously worked, I am appalled that he is now the Superintendent of Schools here in Nashville where we recently moved.

There's enough stress on Administrators and teachers without them having to be concerned if there's enough $$$ to operate an efficient and well-performing school. Some teachers have to lose their job because there's not enough money to pay them. Shame on the city!

Great (and well run) cities have great schools.

Our future are our kids and we should do everything we can to give them a great education with tax money that we are all paying. Cutting the school budgets without reducing spending at the administration level first is unethical and unacceptable

Please provide the entire budget for review rather than the summary. How can we help in the process and the solution without having the details?

This whole budget process has seemed very corrupt this year.

Joseph and the Prince George crew has no desire to show respect to the teachers in our district. When I first started teaching 22 years ago I was proud of my calling, now I am fearful that I will lose my job to be replaced by a Teach for America scrub who just needs to pad their resume for two years.

I hope our email is protected because I have been so anxious to sign this much-needed petition. I pray the board will view this as a call to action and make the right adjustments.
