Marion County bars and restaurants are being restricted and treated less favorably than other Indiana counties. Businesses across this county are permanently closing every day. Meanwhile businesses in neighboring counties are flourishing and reaping the benefits of Marion County’s restrictions. Countless hard working citizens are either unemployed or underemployed due to these restrictions. And the city of Indianapolis is losing hundreds of thousands if not millions in sales tax revenue. With the unemployment rate up and sales tax revenue down, who will pay for this loss of income? We’re not politicians but we assume the citizens of this once great city will be responsible. We are asking for your help by signing this petition and telling our elected officials to open this city under the same guidelines as the rest of the state. Cheers!

Please open us back up. We should have the opportunity to make a living like every other industry. We at least should be on the same phase as the counties surrounding us.

Open our locally owned small businesses that are puttung food on the table of the hard working civilians of Marion County that deserve a fighting chance considering we have a choice to come out and visit these establishments or not. Our rights are still our rights!

I believe it is unfair that the other counties are at lesser restrictions that are providing a working living for individuals while Marion county has restrictions in place making it nearly impossible for those of us under such restrictions due to the Mayor's order to make a living. Even after giving up unemployment benefits to go back to work!

Now you can have concerts at Whiteriver state park! Literally the most ridiculous things are happening in our states and you have made it clear the American workers in these establishments are not important! 26 years in the business! We’re tired, we’re broke and we want our rights back now

Enough is enough. The government should stop choosing winners and losers. 200 people in Walmart is ok but not a comedy club. You eat at The Rathskeller but don’t you dare dance!

Let’s get Indy open! More people are wearing masks. C19 doesn’t stop at 10pm or midnight, so why make places close early? Keep businesses open later so everyone won’t rush to cram into a business all at once. People will spread out bc they know they have time to get there and eat, drink, enjoy a game, and friends/family.
