I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum this has gained lately. This movement belongs entirely to the people who took the time to speak up for fairness. It is humbling to see so many of you standing together on this.

Open space is not a threat. Hunting and fishing is the original social distancing technique.
Fishing while practicing social distancing is in the approved essential activity list. Mental health us just as important as physical health in this current state if the world. Fishing and hiking are great ways to remain relaxed and improve overall mental health
From southern Illinois. Our small state lakes all shut down. Lucky to see handful people on the entire lake.
I love fishing sometimes it feels like it's my therapy. We can maintain common distancing practices. This is so not fair for those of us that have supported the idnr though purchases of legal licensing and who need these resources also to feed their families. I ask to have the parks back open
State parks are owned by the people of the state and paid for buy outdoor men & women. IDNR you need to honor the permits paid for.
Closing state land is ridiculous.

People need things to do besides stay in there house. I’ve been fishing 5 times. Alone, with my dog.
