The CSU pool will only be open from 12-6pm at the moment as the university doesn't think there is enough demand from the students to open for longer hours. Last year it was open from 9am to 9pm every day.
If there is enough signatures then the university will extend the hours.

I checked the count this morning and saw we hit 250 signatures. I truly never expected this many people to back the idea of longer pool hours so thank you for proving me wrong.

The reason why there is not enough demand is because the pool is currently only open during class hours.
A great facility, should be put to use! There's nothing better than going for a quick swim after classes and it's slightly frustrating to think I'll have to go to town and pay (something I do in winter) if I want to swim after 6, which I usually do!
Definitely keep pool open from 9-9. Also invest in solar heating for the pool and a cover will save a lot of money doing so so that when it comes to winter the pool doesn't become riddled with duck poo, and will remain clean with little need for maintenance.
The morning would be great as this is the best time when people like to swim laps. If the pool doesn't open until 12pm we often find our selves going into the town pool in the morning.
Especially in there heat of summer, 12pm-6pm is the horse when people are less likely to want to swim. I definitely appreciated last year being able to go for a swim before it got too hot, or in the evening when you at least didn't have the burning sun you worry about.
There should be access to this pool by the residents north of the river
A highlight of living on campus. CSU Wagga won't be as worthwhile living on it otherwise
