I took golf lesson there a few years back, keeping the golf course closed would be a great loss for the City of Albany. For golfers and none golfers the course has been the pride of the City for many many years now.

Absolute shame in these troubling times that residents and non residents are not able to utilize one of the finest City Landmarks and amenities that has provided recreation to people since 1929. Now when we need it most they close it. Shameful on City Hall for being responsible for this.

This is one of Albany's unique gems which keep people like me living and paying taxes in this city. If Schenectady and Troy can open their courses, Albany has no excuse. It isn't a money maker, but it has to be losing lot more being closed, yet maintained, instead of open and generating some revenue.

Capital Hills is a top-notch, picturesque golf course with a rich tradition. Having a golf course where Albany residents can play is a beneficial quality of life issue. Without golf, it’s a 290 acre dog park.
