If I have to volunteer my time to open this place back up l, I will. The leadership of this city should be ashamed that this place can’t open. How can every other municipal golf course in the capital region operate golf courses and the city of Albany cannot? If revenue is the issue hike up the rates $5 a round for residents and $10 for non city residents.. But I feel that even conceding that is against the point.. This golf course should be a public SERVICE! Does Rosemont park generate revenue for the city? How bout Ridgefield? How bout the basketball courts at Hoffman park? How bout Westland Hills? How bout Mater Cristi swimming pool? How bout Lincoln Park? How bout the Quail Street Boxing Gym? Need I go on?!? These are all wonderful properties that the city utilizes as a SERVICE to its citizens. The least you could do is open a golf course so I can pay $7800 in property taxes for a 1500 square foot house and charge me $40 for a 5 hour round on a Sunday morning....

This is a great course of the area and needs to open to bring some hope to the golfing world in the area. Have more tournaments and allow us to play. Always a pleasure to be there every year
