@ONE: Letters of Support

@ONE is amazing. I've taken so many of their courses. It's a critical resource for professional development to ensure all students succeed in the CCC.

@One trainings have been an invaluable part of my online teacher training. Beyond the basics of high quality course design, I’ve learned so much about being an equity-focused and culturally responsive online teacher. There are still so many faculty around the state that still need critical training to support their ability to influence more positive outcomes for online learners. The conversation should be centered on how to EXPAND funding for @ONE for the next several years.

Faculty development for online teaching is crucial to the future of the community college system. Please continue funding such initiatives.

@ONE has been integral to developing professional DE courses to community colleges. During the COVID pandemic, @ONE was instrumental in providing resources, designing, and offering training sessions to those who never taught online seamlessly. Moreover, @ONE has trained POCR reviewers and helped colleges develop their local Peer Online Course Reviews. The Instructional Designers have been extremely helpful at all times. It's imperative that @ONE continues to be funded now and in the future.

To maintain the quality and integrity of CVC OEI aligned courses, @ONE is critical.

@ONE is a great professional development support for faculty. Great training and awesome instructors!

Please continue to fund @ONE.

@one is crucial & helpful!!

@ONE is invaluable to my teaching. Teachers need more resources not fewer. I depend on @ONE to learn how to use new technologies and to understand and apply new approaches to online teaching. If it had not been for @ONE I would have been lost in 2020 when we went online during the pandemic. I am Associate Faculty teaching fully online at three community colleges and I credit @ONE for my success as an educator.

I would not be where I am today as an effective online instructor if not for the amazing @ONE training and certificate program. And, as a facilitator for @ONE, I can attest to the many CA Community College Instructors who have benefitted from the training, collaboration and support that @ONE fosters.

@ONE has been my go-to for professional development, the quality of instruction is exceptional.

I always learn ways to make my classes more engaging and human.

@ONE offers a variety of high-quality professional development opportunities. I've enjoyed workshops, facilitated short and long courses, self-paced courses, and multiple resources. @ONE is essential for the development of our local POCR process because faculty are trained through @ONE.

@ONE is a fabulous resource that has been essential for training so many California Community College Faculty. It is hands down, the single greatest thing about the CCC system that allows us to serve our students in the best way possible. Please keep it fully funded!

@one provides the highest quality online instruction training that we have. Their resources have been invaluable to me in my new role as the campus Instructional Designer at Santa Rosa Junior College. We are constantly using their materials and customizing them for our campus. I would not be able to provide the training that I have without the @one materials to work from, repurpose, build upon. I also rely on their work to help me keep abreast of new issues, techniques, research, and technologies in the field of online education.
