One of the most important historical sites in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Old Economy Village, located in Beaver County, is in danger of closing. The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, citing budget cuts, furloughed nine of the fifteen positions - virtually closing the site. We the undersigned respectfully petition the Rendell Administration and State Legislatures to restore funding as required to "Old Economy Village" to allow it to continue to provide educational programming for the people of Pennsylvania.
